when I first heard the term I kind of recoiled insecurely at the thought that that some groups might expect me to aid their cause for justice subserviently, or that my mere refusal or dismissiveness might cause me to be ostracized unfairly

but that isnt it

some of yall just dont understand that you should not be mean to people. And I consider the word yall to be all inclusive.

and stop this whole weird thing about pretending that anyone thinks racism is over or doesnt exist. Racism is a huge part of life. Its a mental illness or something and a ton of people have just succumbed or indulged themselves with hate out of sheer fucking boredom

the violence is real. What you think doesnt really matter. The violence is real. Be an ally. Its the only thing that makes any sense, cause theres gonna be times that you need an ally yourself.

Just be fucking nice and respectful of all the people you meet. Its way better. Or flip them off all the time lmao, be you. Just be to people the way you want people to be to you, while at the same time know that some people refuse to do that and they make things just worse for everyone.

and its ok to joke around about whatever the fuck you want. Just think. Ask yourself if youre doing or saying anything that might actually hurt someone. Ive never met a child that was immune to unkind words, nor would I care to. There is a brave wisdom to sensitivity.
