Given the various people who criticise it, sometimes a LOT, and many of them are meant to be fans, you would think the franchise is dreadful. Do you feel this way? If not, how do you feel about the franchise?

As a huge Star Wars mark, I feel Star Wars is kind of trash media on the whole. High concepts, simple stories, flashy setpieces, not really daring the viewer to think deeper.

This is not to say it doesn't succeed at that, because it does. Also every so often there are more daring pieces out there, but for the most part, it's meant to be consumable.

Much like the MCU in that regard.

I still love both, tho.
