Think of all the libs they could own if they taught everyone how the Democrats enslaved black people and fought a civil war against the United States to continue to do.

But they won't, because they're full of shit, so they'll tell you Democrats owned the slaves while crying over the removal of Confederate statues and how it's an attack on conservative culture.

Eh... I've decided to mostly give Reagan a pass on the Aids issue, mostly because almost every politician was squeemish when talking about it until the mid-80s. Federal response came in 1985... until then, only a few hundred people were dying from it every year. I'm not sure if Walter Mondale would of done much better on that front. Most politicians want to stop major diseases in their tracks. Even Trump tried to stop Covid-19.

In the mid 1850's the Republican were the more liberal party and the Democrats were the more conservative party. From the 1900's onward they gradually started to switch platforms and became what we know them as today. Today, the party of Lincoln is by name only.
