Haven't watched them in years and we all know this, but it's so stupid.
Last year, the academy that loves pop music refused to nominate The Weeknd's insanely popular and critically acclaimed album since he chose to perform at the Super Bowl. This year, they continue to treat Best New Artist as a "Released their most popular song" award. Japanese Breakfast and Glass Animals have been around for a long while. Glass Animals is especially stupid since their song "Gooey" was very popular 7 years ago and has hundreds of millions of plays on Spotify. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
