Looking through his filmography, I can see a couple I'd like to check out. He's probably my least favorite director who has made multiple, undeniable masterpieces. I'm pretty sure his last good movie was in the 90s or something, though. Paris Texas and Wings of Desire should go down real smooth, at least, smoother than his others. If you see any of his films and like them, I would also recommend the film Radio On. It's a very Wim Wendersy movie, and for some reason, despite not really liking it, I keep going back to it because I keep finding something there that connects to me.
