Like what is there to even do with this:

For perspective, at the top is Sterling on their recent video they made talking about abuse in the games industry (ie. Bobby Kotick) and more directly a critique of games media for reporting on the abuse one day, then flipping back the next day to hype up the product said company is selling (ie. Call of Duty).

The second tweet is someone longing for the 80s, implying that it didn't exist back then. The third tweet is mine letting them know that it totally existed then. Then Mr. Williams last night replies to me as you can see.

Like the point I'm making is that toxic corporate culture existed for the game industry even in its nascent years, which Mr. Williams clearly isn't denying.

Also it's not like my tweet blew up. Clearly Mr. Williams is searching Twitter for his name (or Sierra's name) so any response I give will be to an old retired game developer and him alone (and maybe he tells Roberta, but I'm not even sure on the likelihood of that). Even if I have something to say to him regarding the nature of the current state of the corporate games industry and his ultimately small contribution, to what end?

I'll probably just leave it be and humble-brag that the old CEO of Sierra On-line responded to me personally on Twitter. o_O

I don't know who that is so I would attempt to bully him. Cyber bully even.

He's just an old man with very little actual clout these days. There's no point to it, and it wouldn't make me feel good to dunk on him personally.

But anyway, like my third tweet suggests, Ken Williams was the CEO of Sierra On-line, maker of games like King's Quest, Space Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, and Quest for Glory.

And he's not wrong that it was a different time for the actual activities that took place, but it doesn't make his corporate culture less toxic. Just less reported on.

He must have been! I didn't tag him or anything!

Or he follows Sterling that closely, which if the case, suggests to me that he approves of their work, which would mean there wouldn't be much to say to him anyway.
