You're going to meet your girlfriend one day for an event and you see her in the middle-distance when your distraction causes you to step on a Chad Muska skateboard and slip. Sending you tumbling into a lake.

You're dragged underwater and it's filthy down there. Full of random trash people have tossed in and not cleaned at all. To make matters worse you get your foot caught in something. You struggle to free it and when you do it forces you to emerge from the water incredibly aggressively. It also ripped your pants and grazed your leg making you bleed a little.

You emerge from the water in front of everyone with your drenched body/torn clothes covered in old shopping bags, doritos packets, condoms and green stuff. There's a some horrible plant thing in your mouth preventing you from talking which you have to cough out in front of everyone like you were throwing up.

You instictively move towards your girlfriend who shrieks when she sees you and squeals loudly "Arrrrrrrgh! There's a grotesque hideous druggie freak! Help! Help! Someone please!" Then she stumbles a bit as she tries to get away only to then realize it's you and she goes "Oh... Sweetie it's you! Are you okay?"

There's a second where everyone digests what just happened and then everyone starts pointing and laughing at you. Strangers, work associates, colleagues, friends etc. You realize everyone is looking in a giant a circle. They're all making fun of you. More for how your girlfriend reacted than what actually happened to you.



Inverse to boyfriend if that way inclined.

The only proper response is to laugh with them because I wont feel humiliated because I almost drowned in a freak accident.

Its not that its too specific, its that its too implausible, for me. I get youre being creative and its fun, but a slight rework so Im not responding to something more in line with a no pants at school dream, might make it easier for me to be creative in kind. Give us a little room to breath.

I probably wouldnt have the instinct to move towards her and instead would stand by the lake and clean myself up as best I can before going over to her.

Id also assume the commotion would cause most of the crowd, including her, to look my way.
