my boyfriend and i both have samsungs and we're both having issues charging using cords suddenly over the past couple of weeks

it either doesn't recognize the cord at all or it says there is moisture in the usb port and to disconnect the charger

neither of us have dropped our phones or gotten them wet

i bought a wireless charger but it's really inconvenient because i can only leave it in my room

does anyone have any idea if this is an issue with an update or what?

No, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was because of an update. My Galaxy S5 has been slow as fuck lately since the last update. Like to the point I know there's no point trying to open an app in a pinch because I know it'll take around a full minute or more just to get to the home screen and successfully open the app.

Yep, no matter what power point I plug my A20 into, I always get the check your connection message

It's the cable that came with the phone and it's barely over a year old

i wonder if the update from a couple weeks ago caused charging issues

Am a galaxy user and I haven't noticed any change in my charging. My phone is from 2019 for context.
