I've barely had any contact with my childhood friends since I turned 18. Very occasionally I've bumped into someone in the street, or a club, or whatever. I don't even remember the last specific time. Well, there's a girl I knew at primary school, secondary school and college, and I saw her in the street today. She was driving, and I was walking, and we literally just made eye contact and smiled at each other, but it was kinda cool. It's funny. I had some really good friends growing up, but I almost completely lost contact with them when I turned 18. Weird.

Do you see your childhood friends much, if at all?

I wasn't sure if it was her or not, at first. Now I'm pretty sure.

Shame. Would've been nice to talk. I really have no earthly idea what any of my childhood friends are up to, except a couple of them are parents now, and I only gleaned that from spotting them in public places with children in tow.

On a recent grocery run as I visited my hometown I made eye contact with and smiled at a guy I hadn't seen since we were in eighth grade, he must have gone to a different high school
I smiled because the last specific interaction I remember having with him was wrestling. For a couple of weeks I had to wrestle with him almost every day in gym class because we were the only boys in the lightest weight class during a yearly tournament the school was putting on
He was the shortest kid in class and I was by far the skinniest and about two years behind everyone in puberty onset and progression, so he beat the crap out of me
It's a funny memory. Doubt he recognized me

Not direct contact. Usually I'll bump into their parents and they'll talk about how they moved out of state and got married etc.
