They forgot appeasement doesn't work and now with Putin coming back for more they assume they need to yell a little more before they let him have that too. Ukraine should never have given up their nukes. anyway to answer the question, since Putin did not stop with Crimea, it's very likely that he won't stop with the whole Ukraine either. is the domestic situation in Russia so bad right now? usually leaders creating a conflict against other countries to distract the population. --- You have the right to remain silent. It was like a "state" in Ukraine I think. It would be like if America decided to annex British Columbia from Canada Anyway yea, the world realizes we made a mistake with Crimea. We should have done something then. This is like with Hitler. He kept taking lands and saying "this is the last one I promise.
