never know. i've been interviewing at a place for like two months because there are internal struggles that i wouldn't know about if i didn't have an inside contact. they almost went three weeks between interview people, not too long ago.

depends on the place, situation. i wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket if i were you, just in case.

Had they told you when to expect to hear back? A week is long enough that you could just call them to ask.

They didn't give me a timeline

I was going to reach out tomorrow after a full week if they don't get back by tonight

I would certainly follow up sometime this week. I had two interviews in early February for two different positions that I thought went well and it wasn't until mid March that I heard back from either place to schedule a 2nd interview.

Definitely send an email to make it sound you are really interested in the internship.
