Like the right voted in people like Trump, Boebert and MTG, they clearly are not very intelligent. I can't imagine this not working. You'd only need the one term as a unified coalition to hinder the GOP for the rest of the future.

Coordinating hundreds of campaigns and not being noticed in the act seems highly unlikely to me.

Trump managed it and he became president. Only he never stopped being a Republican once he won and well you know the rest.

Democrats would see that as unfair and would continue to "take the high road" into oblivion and would be too inept to do it in the first place.

I've wondered what would happen if you ran as a republican and then just did liberal stuff and if called out would say, "that's just liberal sjw lies, I definitely am a republican who is very Republican. What do you believe, news articles or me? We don't need all that fake news."

This is what the Federalist Society was created for. They screened candidates to see if they were true believers before backing them. One thing that really bumped up your cache with them was if you had close family who were already members. After that, members were constantly subjected to purity tests to prove their convictions.
