Just watching cars go around and around a bazillion times seems boring as fuck. Honestly the only cool thing about it is seeing how fast those pit crews work >_> It blows my mind how fast they change those tires lol

People are waiting for a huge epic crash.

Playing racing video games has made watching races click more for me. I've gotten really into F1 over the last several years. Knowing the difficulty of what those drivers are doing, and the danger they're in should just one thing go wrong, I find it gripping.

Yep, that's just sports in general. I used to think Soccer (American Futball) was the most boring sport to watch until I actually started playing it and got someone to explain to me the intricacies and nuance of the sport did I get a bigger appreciation for it. I still think Basketball and Hockey are way more fun to watch from a spectators point of view, but now I always go into this mindset when I'm watching a sports game that I don't get.

I have not missed a race since 2012, and was an occasional watcher since 02.

I just enjoyed the sheer precision and efficiency of the sport, seeing someone put 20 laps together to that's all almost the same time to the tenths of a second is just really cool, when you know what it takes.

I'm the opposite. I understand that there is high risk an it requires skill/kontrol/understanding, but it still lacks people throwing bombs and turtle shells.

If youre watching on TV its boring, but if youre in the stands its exciting, especially if youre with your family. Give it a shot yall might change your mind.

I only watch F1, in the last few years it has been shit because of the mercedes team dominance. Up until last season, last season was fucking good. You dont just watch the particular race, you watch the season, on who wins with the points accumulated. Mercedes and Red Bull have been nearly alternating winning races. In fact they were racing til the last lap of the season, it was great.
