The chance I'll be without coverage in a pinch is exceedingly low for the most part. I have Visible (Verizon) and AT&T prepaid set up now. Getting an e-sim set up for AT&T prepaid just required me to buy a regular AT&T e-sim card from their store, then I called and had an agent activate it for me. They were pretty much none the wiser, but I'm glad that scanning the QR code and downloading it worked without issue.
