New YA novel "Padawan" came out recently and in it, a teenaged Obi-Wan muses on relationships, the fact that he can't have them, and who he might consider having a relationship with.

The way it's framed is actually pretty interesting. Jedi kids are so intensely indoctrinated against relationships that they're completely clueless about their own sexuality.

Just another example of why the Jedi sucked and Qui Gonn was the only sane man in that group of fundie assholes. >_>

Insert that "it's called battle of the fates because if qui gonn won and lived, he would have properly raised anakin and helped him move beyond his abandonment and other demons, but by dying it meant that anakin would be lost to the dark side copypasta here.
