The novelization which was released to coincide with the movie also stated that Kong was merely intrigued because he'd never see a woman with that color hair before. Now, the 1976 version... Jessica Lange's character is like a cat in heat in Kong's palm. He also pulls her top off and gives the audience a blink-and-you'll-miss-it bit of exposed boobage.
