Do you own a smartwatch?

If you own one, do you find it to be useful/worth the cost?

Yeah, but I probably only have worn it a handful of times. At least I got it free with one of my old Samsung phones.

I actually do like old school mechanical watches, though. Totally wear them a lot more.

No and I have no interest in one.

I haven't worn a watch since I was a kid and my mom made me wear one so that I'd come home on time.

Have a Fitbit Blaze that I haven't used in years. It was a gift, and I guess an interesting insight/trial of a semi-smart watch. I thought about what a full/true smartwatch could do for me after, and I just didn't see the point. I'm not that far from my phone most of the time. Maybe if I had kids, those immediate alerts would matter more.

Became more of a mechanical watch person lately. More fascination with a tool that measures time without any need of electrical power or connectivity.

I have an older Apple Watch I got for fairly cheap and found it a convenient way of doing some things without the need of using the phone. Notifications (texts/email/doorbell camera), controlling music/audio, garage opener, fitness tracking, stocks, unlocking/finding phone, timer/stopwatch/alarms/reminders, asking Siri stuff, ect.

No, I'd never wear a Smart Watch (except while exercising). I prefer class watches.

Yes. I used to think the idea was sort of dumb until I got one as a gift. Now I almost never take it off. I am hooked on the fitness app and the challenges it gives you. It makes exercising fun (sometimes) and it makes it to where I can permanently mute my phone and I feel a vibration on my wrist when I get a text or call. The technology needs to develop further, but I am sold on mine.

I also disliked the feeling of wearing a watch, but this feels fine to me.

Yes and I mostly only use it to keep track of my steps for the day and as a timer while working out. I was really into using it to track my sleep too but I found myself getting annoyed about charging it since I normally charge devices overnight.

i bought one a couple years ago. used it for a few months but stopped. i just dont find them that useful, and the battery life on mine was horrible. had to charge it once a day. pain in the ass. maybe i would have used it more if the battery life were longer, like a real watch.

I am very anti-wristwatch, so I have absolutely zero interest to ever get one and will confidently say that I'll never get one.

I've had one ever since 2019. Before I got it, I said I'd probably never wear a watch since my phone does everything. Something about the Galaxy Watch interested me. Bought it, and now I feel completely naked without it lol.

I have the Galaxy Watch. I've had it since the day it came out and I've never felt the need to upgrade.
