I'm having a blast messing with these. They were like $12 on Amazon, ordered 3 and put one behind the monitor, two under the desk. The phone app is really generic but it works well enough. For October I'm definitely doing orange with an orange keyboard. Yeah I know this is edging on gamer chair territory but whatever lol. The ambient lighting beats a bright overhead light imo.

Nope but I prefer the tried and true christmas lights for mood lighting.

Those are always a good mood. I used to have some strung up around my window not long ago.

I wrapped a strip light around the edge of my pool and it looks pretty sweet at night

The closest to replicating black lights I think would be something around purple. I've had black lights before, and it's possible to get the ambiance close, but not perfect.

Yes, i do mess with lights. In a tasteful and comfortable way. I never thought blasting a strange colour through your room was ever good for the eyes.

Yeah I've found light purple to be the most relaxing/easy on the eyes. The pictures really don't do the mood justice tbh, the colors are much more subdued but of course I left on night sight lol.
