The games in general don't seem to vary much, with the only real change being the addition of new characters. As for the 3rd, 4th and 5th games, they appear to be basically the SAME. At this point I'd rather Capcom license the franchise out to Arc System Works or something because they clearly don't think the franchise is worth it and even if they did announce another game I don't trust that they'd give it the resources necessary to actually create a AAA fighter that can compete with the other big names on the market. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
