The Satanic Rites of Dracula - Hammer horror. Decent. Direct sequel to Dracula AD 1972, both with Lee and Cushing.
House of the Long Shadows - horror with comedy elements. Quite good. Excellent cast.
Last Night In Soho - zeitgeistal film set in 1960s London. Basically a metoo film. Decent.
The Devil and the Blacksmith - Spanish language horror film. Quite good.
The Blue Blue - French drama in the English language. Painfully boring, and 2 and a half hours long. Dreadful.
Day for Night - French drama film. Decent. It's about a film being made.
Paris, 13th District - French drama. Millennials living in Paris, mostly in black and white. Very modern. Quite good.
Valerie and her Week of Wonders - Czech entry-level postmodern drama. Very strange. Decent.
Badlands - drama. Starring a young Martin Sheen and a very young Sissy Spacek. Decent.
The Petit Charm of the Bourseisie - French entry-level postmodern drama. Decent.

Some interesting stuff. Mostly arthouse, and a lot of it is foreign language. Have you seen any of them? What did you think?

What was wrong with it? I think it's one of Hammer's best films.

Random old movies are the best, especially when you're in the perfect mood for what ever it is you happen to be watching. When that perfect little film that you've never seen or heard of comes on TV, starring your favorite actors or actresses, it's such a magical experience. Nothing quite like it. If you're looking for "more of the same, but different". There's some real life-changing experiences to be had for some people, especially for some of us (perhaps most of us) since these old movies and shows formed a huge chunk of our early thinking and personalities as children, when we watched them in our early years absorbing every little detail we could, and bounced those ideas around against what we saw in other media, or at home, in our neighborhoods, and at school, to form some idea of the new & exciting world around us, and also to understand who we are, who we want to be, who are parents are, and what it means to have friends, and what life can offer, and so on.
