Following the release of covid restrictions, they annouce that the largest Unite The Right/MAGA rally of all time is going to occur right outside where you live. It'll span down the street in every direction as protesters try to make their voices heard.

People from all over the country and world will fly/bus/swim in to take part. Every hotel is fully booked, people are setting up tents and sleeping in cars.

What would you do?

This scenario is weird... why would they setup in a random ass neighborhood in Los Angeles (and a minority filled one at that) instead of going to like SoFi Stadium or Banc of California Stadium?

Anyway... if I knew ahead of time that it was happening, I would just leave town for a few days. I'm not getting harassed by some morons if I can help it.

I'd stay and maybe hopefully get Liz Willis to acknowledge me.

This would be a dumb place for a giant rally. I'm in a random neighborhood in a small town, the nearest hotels are at like 5 miles away, and I'm pretty sure there's not more than a dozen hotels in the entire town, if that.

Then again, trump gave a speech at a landscaping company.

Id tell my POC friends so they can flee the city for a few days so theyre not endangered by that mob. Id help them leave town until the rally is done.

Sell tickets.

If its gonna happen outside my house, I'm at least going to profit from it.

They would quickly get bored in a rural town with crappy internet, food, bad weather, people, flight costs and hotel.

Create and hang a banner for Four Seasons Total Landscapings new location.

there isn't any room for such an event. It would have to be at the fairgrounds up and across the street.

Idk probably go all out getting banners for pro-choice, anti-religion, and shit like that. Then buy a speakerphone and talk over their speakers constantly and shit.

Or just ignore them, depends how spiteful and petty I feel at the time.

Put up an American flag, Cambodian flag, Brazilian flag, Rainbow flag and a BLM flag.

I'd buy and set up an American flag and skip town for a few days.

I'm staying home to protect my family and our shit. Because as we've seen, none of these groups (on both sides) who like to do this shit can remain peaceful. It always seems to end in violence and destruction so we'renot going anywhere. The little ones can go stay with the grandparents.

Really awful choice for a place to start a riot though. We live in one of those neighborhoods that has very few entrances and nearly every street is short and ends in a cul-de-sac. It keeps the neighborhood quiet by discouraging people from trying to use it as a shortcut and the streets layout also keeps traffic slow as you don't really have many long stretches of road that won't require a 90 turn just ahead.

I live in Louisiana; this is a surprisingly realistic scenario, even if parts of Baton Rouge aren't as red as other sections of the state are...
