Well, the other side of that is France, where the uber-rich just leave.

I don't think the uber-rich leaving the UK would actually hurt it that much.

These people aren't putting much into the economy. Just holding it there. These tax cuts wouldn't lead to a boom in new businesses and jobs and investments, it would just lead to more multi-millionaires/billionaires living in the UK doing nothing.

Sure there's a benefit to the country having wealth but this is almost entirely negative.
