I think its kinda sad because theres a lot of guys that are just trapped in their own heads and have had their minds warped by dating sites/apps

if they stopped fawning over girls on the internet and just chilled out they could make a real connection with someone and have something nice in their life

i totally understand meeting someone on an online platform like social media or a multiplayer game, and catching feelings, meeting up, dating, etc. i know a lot of couples who met that way.

but the one-sided stuff where it's just a webcam girl providing a service, no, i cannot wrap my brain around it even as someone who was basically an incel for years

met my wife online, been together 17 years now. kinda had to catch feels for that to happen.

But as far as like, cam girls / streamers and such go? I mean, nothing wrong with crushing a little so long as you don't go fooling yourself into thinking it's "Something real."

Yeah this. People can, and have, fallen in love through online/long distance relationships.

But that's not the same as paying a streamer to talk to you. That's not love, that's a job. Falling for someone that only sees you as a customer is just asking for heartache.
