used okcupid for like a year about a decade ago. met like 7 or 8 girls. hooked up with 3 or 4. two were chill, still friends with one on FB, shes married with kids now and so am i. the other chill one i used to run into all the time cause we went to the same goth club. killed herself a few years ago.

the other 6 or so became psychotically clingy within days of meeting me and i had no choice but to completely ghost them

I found my wife a boyfriend that has made her very happy, so positive.

I used tinder and bumble for about 4 months in 2018. I got like 50 matches in that time. Only got dates with about 6 women. Only 3 of them went more than 2 dates. Hooked up with those 3 the last of which became my wife so I'd say it was successful overall though there was a ton of frustration with getting ghosted or women that would match and talk but not commit to actually meeting.
