Are you impressed? I think the best were probably Paris, 13th District (DVD), A Land Imagined (Netflix), Sleepy Hollow (Netflix), House of the Long Shadows (TalkingPicturesTV), The Devil and the Blacksmith (Netflix), Renoir (DVD), and Pure As Snow (Netflix).

I caught up! I'm at 144, with another 25ish if you count short films.

I am at 171 for the year, way behind my usual amount, but I have been very busy, and I have played way more video games this year so it makes sense.

I watch horror most of all, but I watch most big releases or things with good reviews.

Best movies I've watched recently Barbarian, Resurrection, Bodies Bodies Bodies, Orphan First Kill, Prety, etc.

Let's do some basic math here.

There are 8760 hours in a year. Let's say the average movie is 2 hours long. That's only 270 hours spent watching movies.

That's not a very impressive number considering your entire year is free-time.

I did that for a while back when I was working security. I always worked remote areas far away from civilization guarding power stations and whatnot. It was completely fenced in, so no one could break in, perfect time to catch up on movies.

Went through an entire Jumbo Video movie library in like 3 months (Canadian version of Blockbuster).

I don't even watch 50 movies in a year... that would be about one a week. It just seems like a lot of time to me to sit down doing one thing. Yeah it's not a lot of total hours compared to time I spend gaming, but you can jump in and out of that at your own pace

I know some people multitask while watching too, but for me I feel like I need my full attention focused if I'm gonna watch something. I guess for shitty movies it's doable

Movies don't entertain me nearly enough to watch that many in a year. That is honestly a completely foreign concept to me. I spend most of my free time playing video games.

Just saw Exorcist III last month. So good.

I really really really loved all the Brad Dourif scenes and it's like a movie that has a collection of really awesome scenes that are all separate to eachother and make no sense, like I've completely lost the plot of the movie by the time the random priest shows up but that ending exorcism is cool as hell, hence the 7
