This is basically how I envision small town life. Nothing to do but eat and drink to the point where you cause a ruckus with uncle buck.

Listening to music, watching sports, and of course mindlessly browsing the internet. Basically, all shit done cooped up in my apartment.

I have built an area that looks like a Densely populated city in my rural area, and everyone is amazed when they come to ************* Town, and ask where everyone is, and utterly confused why it appears so empty.

Get drunk and play games.

I'm in that weird part of the KC suburbs where coyotes and foxes wander around, yet only six miles from the airport.
...I kinda miss rural nowhere, where shooting a gun out the back door won't cause a swarm of cops to show up.

I was born and raised in a small town.

Small town, typically the fun comes from hiking or going to other small towns that have good restaurants and what not. Also, Seattle is just a ferry ride away if I'm dying for big city stuff

I grew up in a rural town. Other than video games, we would go for drives around town, play pickup sports games, and uh...... that's it actually.

But I can't really shit talk that lifestyle bc now as an adult living in a city I still mostly wanna play video games in my house.

Yeah, I live in a little mountain town. People come here to retire, so it's not exactly a very exciting place. Population just under 2k iirc.

Next town over is bigger, but there's still nothing to do. There's a movie theatre, and they opened a bowling alley last year. Other than that, idk what people do.

Wow, that's hard to imagine. My graduating class was about 30. Most of them moved away.

I live in a small town that's not far outside of Toronto. Not a lot going on here. Most people I know are alcoholics and drug addicts.

If I wanna do stuff other than get fucked up I gotta get on a bus and go into the city. I can be in downtown Toronto within an hour.

Live in a small town in NC, about fifteen minutes from town. I've never lived more than a mile from home (dad gave me some land beside his to build a house on) and I absolutely love it. We live at the end of a dead end road, surrounded by acre after acre of woods. My parents own twenty acres or so with a huge ass creek flowing through it (technically a few miles short of being classified as a river). I can walk to that in about a minute or so.

For fun I fish a good bit, or canoe. The kids like to get in and splash around. Tons of wildlife around and it's pretty common to hear wild turkeys in the early morning. There's a huge field right by the creek and we camp there through the year. Close enough to get WiFi from my sister's house (my parents have her their house and built another up in the woods) so we'll get out the inflatable screen and projector and watch movies and chill by the fire. Toss the football, play badminton, stuff like that. And fish, of course. Sometimes I'll go down in the evening and catch a couple catfish or yellow perch and have a nice fresh fish dinner.

Our neighbors are pretty cool and don't mind us walking their property. There's a feeder creek that flows behind my house, and there's a ton of huge ass rocks the kids will climb and play on.

We have very little light pollution so I love to star gaze and catch meteor showers. My son enjoys driving my parents four wheeler. I used to have a huge garden and got most of our produce from it spring, summer and fall. Plus gathering paw paws in fall (a very good fruit).

I also game, but love to be outside. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

1500 people but I live 5 mins from the beach on foot, and its got a skatepark and tons of hiking and biking trails. Also 15 mins down the highway from a town with everything so its perfect.

30k people. For fun I usually either go to families houses to try to get their kids outside to play or I walk around at all times of night when everything is desolate and it looks like a giant ghost town. I like getting around when people are out, but nothing beats being heavily buzzed on something and just wondering around in the ambiance of a city at 2am. Especially when I had a dog to let run free and enjoy minimum restraints.
