In s1 there was that lull while they discover the beach and build up what's happening there but it was a good payoff to setup the twist of games happening wherever, whenever. I appreciated that the pacing in s2 was a bit more consistent. I can see some viewers kinda complaining about the action packed episode 7 and then the calmer but mental episode 8 but I liked it. --- Did anything ever really count Or was I just a two year practice round? ...
