Norse one?

Confirmed it'll be the Norse games. Probably have flashbacks. Probably will be bad as the Wheel of Time guy is the showrunner.

Even if the Greek games weren't as movie like as the modern norse ones, a tv show could have adapted the Greek saga in a good way. People say because the story is bare in the old games that the show would suffer. It's called an adaptation for a reason

I was a little annoyed with the reason to start with the Norse saga, but I've come around to thinking that it was the right choice. Kratos in the OG trilogy is just a huge piece of shit whose only redeeming factor is that he's fighting even bigger pieces of shit. That's fine for a video game, but it'd be tough for a general audience to root for him as a protagonist while still understanding that he is, in fact, a piece of shit.

Starting with the Norse with flashbacks (I'm imagining something like Arrow) is probably a good call.

It also helps fill the gaps. I think neither the Greek or Norse sagas have enough content to be a straight adaptation, but jumping back and forth like that can help avoid the need to just make up shit.
