But this was after all the updates with the human NPCs added and such. Sure, for endgame events/raids/etc that works out fine and you may very well need the help, but when I'm just going through the game I want to immerse myself, read all the lore, listen to every recording, etc. and that becomes a fuckin pain in the ass to do with someone breathing down your neck all the time, urging you to hurry up all the time even if they aren't necessarily saying out loud to do so. All that being said, I would just suggest that if you liked FO4, you'll probably be fine with this game. There's some altered/scruffier elements due to the game being always online (one of the biggest immediately obvious changes being that VATS can no longer slow down time and instead acts more like just an autoaim), but the core gameplay never felt drastically different than FO4 to me. <cite>Philip027 posted [p:970655270] in Fallout 76... That was introduced long before they added those extra tiers, so they were smart enough not to suddenly lock it behind a higher tier. And TC, Fallout 76 is a decent game now. They fixed their stupid decision of not having any NPC's.
