Look at West Virginia. They keep voting against their interests despite living in abject poverty. They legitimately believe that somehow the coal industry is just going to magically become the next big thing and they're vehemently against the idea of green energy initiatives.

Look at the state now. Nothing but poverty, opioid addicts, more poverty, more addicts, more despair.

Like people haven't been conditioned to make sure their car isn't properly fueled up for literally decades.

That's a literal argument a co-worker makes whenever the topic of electric vehicles comes up in the office.
