It's basically an entertainment center where you pay for a period of time (two hours, four hours, all day) and get to challenge all their little escape rooms. It reminds me very much of Boda Borg, a place I went last fall, and I'm almost certain it was inspired by it.

There are 42 rooms you can tackle and each either has a physical, mental, or skill challenge. In some cases you have to cross a room staying off the floor, or avoid light beams, or toss a ball in a hole, or solve some visual brain teasers. That's the part that's like Boda Borg.

Unlike Boda Borg, there are additional types of activities. You have "Hunt", where you explore the entire complex looking for art installations and trying to solve little scavenger hunts based on them. such as identifying all the string art pieces in the place. There's also "Arena" where two players can challenge each other in head-to-head physical/mental challenges such as a simon says or tossing balls into holes.

Basically you're just doing the stuff for fun and points, which you can use to customize your little player icon. Had a ton of fun with my friends but we realized we're a little too out-of-shape for some of them.

30 bucks for two hours.
40 bucks for four hours.
50 bucks for all day.

Except for Saturday, where you pay an extra five bucks for each rate.

I went to the one in Malden
Also the only one in the US.

We're kinda spoiled here in Mass.
