I'm just happy to see Walter Jones and David Yost appear in Power Rangers content again. That would make Trini (for obvious reasons) and Kimberly the only members of the original 6 to not make appearances after their first runs on the show.

I think Green only appears in flashbacks. I'm thinking they might just use archive lines for Tommy (unless JDF decided to record some lines)

Nope. I've seen people speculate it's Adam, but it might just be a suited Tommy and we simply don't see him unmorphed, like how they do with most returning rangers in the actual shows. I don't even think JDF was invited back, since apparently Saban didn't like him doing his own thing with the franchise.

Anyway, can't wait for this.

tbf, using stock footage from the 90s to make it seem like the other rangers are still there would be hilarious.

I lowkey want them to just reuse the morphing sequence from the 90s as well when they morph in this lol. Like when Adam morphed during In Space, and they recycled his morph from MMPR, even though his haircut and everything was entirely different and he was 3 years younger.

I'm not sure how I feel about how they handled Trini either. Passed away, sure. Killed? I don't know.

I can't fault people for aging, but it's still crazy how Walter stays on another level. I mean even in the original MMPR dude was putting up better fight scenes than with the suit. I'm probably repeating myself from a past Power Rangers topic, but the dude literally lived up to being a Power Ranger. I was a Tommy/JDF fan no doubt, but it's a shame Walter had to leave the spotlight because they weren't doing right by him.

However, Adam/Johnny took on that mantle incredibly well. That's my top 3 rangers right there.

This. Ive been watching MMPR in the background for a few months and Im on S2 right before the OG trip are about to leave the show. Zack is legit one of the best characters. I wish he had stayed and had the chance to become a leader of a PR team

honestly its possible they didnt even ask her
she quit the show in its third season
she wanted to quit earlier but they convinced her to stay on for most of season 3 and then wrote a 10 episode story arc writing her out of a show which is more than anyone else had ever gotten
due to her being like the second most popular ranger after tommy

but well most of the power ranger cast were athletes who werent really looking to break into the business in any meaningful way she wanted to be a serious actress and thought that being known as the pink ranger would hold her career back
and for a long time it kind of did
she wouldnt even talk about power rangers in interviews for years

but after she got cast in flashpoint a canadian show about a swat team in toronto that went on to be really successful the 3 years it aired she did soften on her old role and will now talk about it
but they might have not even tried to get her back just because they assumed she would turn them down. i know she wasnt contacted to appear in the anniversary special which brought back a bunch of old ranger actors in megaforce
i remember because IIRC she said had she been offered a cameo in that episode she would have done it.
