They're all on netflix. The advent of streaming meant that getting a comedy special isn't the big deal that it was 20 years ago and now there's a million no-name comedians with their own hour-long special on Netflix that you can go watch.

For some perspective, anyone born between 1981 and 1996 (ages 27 to 42) is considered a Millennial.

There are still millenials in their 20s, and the oldest ones are in their 40s.

It's basically the new version of being on Comedy Central "Half Hour Comedy Hour" they had in the 90's and 2000's.

Bo Burnham is 32.
Ali Wong is 40.
John Mulaney is 40.
Aparna Nancherla is 40
Patti Harrison is 32
Ilana Glazer is 35
Abbi Jacobson is 39
Demi Adejuyigbe is 30

None of them are even close to being GenX

There's a lot of good stand-up being performed by 30 somethings. Problem is, it's not translating to mainstream success because they aren't "graduating" to Sitcom or Comedic movie roles, because both are a relatively dying genre.

So there's no millennial Seinfeld, Kevin James or Ray Romano's getting their own shows that turn these standup guys into household names.

That is a good answer. You don't see any comedians go on to become sitcom stars anymore.
