I wonder if more educated ones/ones who were aware also added mythological figures from other countries.

like, if they had versus conversations about Zeus and Anubis

Jason and the Argonauts was literally Ancient Greek Avengers. Biggest crossover of all time at that point.

I wonder if the play adaptation got them HYPE.
