Keep them in your fucking car. My windshield does not want them.

I'm not saying no one ever throws other trash out of their car, but I'm not seeing soda cans and Starbucks cups fly out of windows daily.

yeah i live in an area where they won't be able to start a forest fire by throwing a cig butt out the window so it's pretty common unfortunately.

also the police don't care here.

They should treat cigarette butts the same as littering, a cop sees you toss one out your car window, or on the ground in a parking lot, they can fine you just like if you tossed a bottled drink on the ground. There's a disgusting amount of butts everywhere on this planet, basically anywhere you look.

Police will hit you with a littering fine.

I clean my ~1 km street of litter every few days or so.

Cigarette butts are by far the most common item, followed by fast food waste and empty alcohol cans/containers. Fucking degenerates.

I just stand on the side of the road in silent protest with one tear gently falling down my cheek

I don't smoke anymore however when I did I kept a water bottle for cigarette butts. Grinds my gears seeing people flick them out of the window. It's so easy to contain your trash in your own space.

Doesn't make smoking a less disgusting habit. The only habit more disgusting is chewing tobacco.

I remember in the 90s when people had ash trays in their cars. I wonder if that prevented smokers back then from tossing them outside or not compared to today. I do see it daily when I drive and its pretty sickening.

I'm kind of surprised we haven't come up with a biodegradable cigarette butt yet. I guess one upside to Zoomers being vapers is that when they are middle aged this will be less and less common.

A lot of people who moved into my apartment complex recently just drop their trash on the sidewalk or parking lot? Even weirder some people take their garbage and take it all the way to the dumpster, but then drop it in front of it, not inside the dumpster. Why are people so filthy.
