Also, I'm a man. I was married to a woman. I never wanted her to take my name. She threw a fit because I didn't take hers. I think a lot about that and how, roughly three months after we got married, she demanded a divorce. If I had changed my name, that's about the time that everything would have been finalized and then I would have had to just go and change everything back.

Having to change your name is such a dumb concept. I've long hated my last name because it was my father's (who was an utter bastard). I've been alive long enough that I no longer think of it as being his name; it's mine. It took a lot of mental work to be okay with that. I'm not giving that up for anyone.
