One of em is one of those dudes that is super musical and can learn basically any instrument he wants with relative ease. He learned Through Fire and the Flames the like, piano looking hold way. Plug in your own personal guitar/bass to play along using the actual fingerings/chords for the songs you are playing. But like Guitar Hero/Rock Band, it has various progression/difficulty levels (like maybe on the easier difficulties for a song you only play the root note of the chord instead of the full chord or you only play the notes without palm muting or something). It has mini games to teach you scales, chords, techniques like hammer-ons/pull-offs. I never got any better beyond that. I played thousands of hours of GH and RB games though, I think Rock Band 2 might have been my favorite overall.
