it is not even remotely close to a phishing site and if you ever used a password at all like the ones you end up with in this game you're probably insane

I can't get past the chess one. The best I get is invalid notation or illegal move even though I'm using the notation their linked wikpedia page describes.

I'm also not sure why I keep getting illegal moves. I'm terrible at chess, but I do know how the pieces move, but it's telling me I can't move a rook in a straight line or a bishop in a diagonal. Maybe there's some rule about moving a piece adjacent to a king?

It would create a checkmate in two turns when the enemy knight at E7 captures it, and then the enemy pawn moves to H5.

It's a game-losing move.

I did eventually figure out that I was missing that if you put an opponent in check, you have to add + to the end of the notation. What I wanted was Bishop to e5.

I got a bit further in the password game, but I gave up when you had to throw in a Youtube link which fucked up my periodic table math for like the third time and my Roman numeral math for the fifth time.

It's probably something dumb like you can move it but it results in a draw because of the stalemate limit.

There's a lot of things you can do in chess that people think you can't but you actually can. Like you do not actually have to remove a check. If let's say you get put in check but you move to block it and the piece you moved actually opened up a new check and your opponent didn't notice it, if he fails to capture your King on his turn then the game keeps going.

It would never work in a professional setting but it's not an illegal move.

Oh, that's because I'm a dumdumb and meant H5. It puts the King in check. The bishop is on E5 which I guess is where I fucked it up.

After overfeeding and underfeeding Paul I gave up (for now).

I decided to try it without using a real password since others have tried it. I gave up upon guessing the country as I'm terrible with geography.

I got to Rule 32

There is a neat trick with Paul actually

If you put an enter (a line break, doesn't count towards the character count) before Paul and at least 2 letters before him and 3 bugs, there's a bug where it eats the 2 letters before a 3 bug you copy paste before Paul. Meaning rather than copy paste, you can actually just paste a bunch of the same letter and just let Paul munch on the letters

Gave me a crapload of time to slowly work through it, but some of the later rules basically get ridiculous

To combat some of them, you copy the text and paste it onto a notepad every now and then.

Entering to combat Paul's hunger is cool but it also fucks up the error highlights, which are really useful especially later on, so it's still recommended you do most of the work on the first line, leave Paul on the 2nd

Not entirely sure the extent of how it works, but it's by far the best way to beat this game atm. Probably could've done it, but the color hex RNG gets really fucking annoying, same for the youtube url one

Lul this is what I did too. The search result had 2 usable videos, and it's completely RNG on how much the URL will fuck you up. I recommend using the truncated youtube link. Not certain if 3rd party link redirector works.

You just want with as little numbers and X, I, C, and V as possible. One capital V is acceptable, but you might get fucked by something later down the line

The full answer didn't seem that far off from my rule 32 run, so can't imagine it goes much further than 34. I wish I was able to continue that run. I had it under control
