I wouldn't. It's not my genre. I sometimes might play Total War, solo, that's as far as it gets, and that gets kind of boring when the last few provinces or areas to conquer are almost always under-developed settlements with hardly anyone to guard them, largely thanks to how many factions throw themselves on my sword. *shrugs*

@me daily to remind me to do the discovery queue and get my free sticker.

The Steam Deck being on sale is enticing. Bought Half-Life because I somehow didn't have that, and Fez because it's rarely ever on sale.

For RTS, it would be Age of Empires 2, both Starcrafts are a breeze compared to this as macro has always been a struggle for me when playing this.

Any without gamepad controls. Joints have me stuck playing them with God Mode. -_-

I'd like to be better at sniping aiming in general, because it's something I would love to specialize in but suck real bad at (unless it's vs AI shit like Sniper Elite 5 but that barely counts probably)

In games like Planetside 2 I'm an adequate engineer or medic, but when I want to cause damage, it never works out. So tbh if you made me pick one game it'd be that one. I can get a good flanking position, I can time it to catch them off guard, but my aim is so terrible I have 5 other snipers on me by my third miss

Oh, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is 70% off. Real good game if you like Pathfinder/DnD or games like Divinity Original Sin 2. There's a seriously insane amount of tabletop freedom in character builds for a video game.

I really wish the Pathfinder games were balanced better, 99% of non-trash mob encounters rely on you pre-buffing with every spell availible at that point, god help you if you don't have Haste, Protection from Alignment and any other miscellaneous spell to use beforehand.

After payling both those games a couple times I'm convinced Owlcat game designers consist entirely of DMs who drove away all their players due to being that shitbag of a DM who actively is trying to get their players killed every encounter.

Yeah I consider the buff bot mod to essentially be mandatory. Not understanding how important they were and not resting enough was why I was so bad at both games at first

I mostly bought random cheap games for myself, then asked a couple of family share leachers what they wanted to play. Couldn't get everything they wanted, like The Last of Us, but grabbed a bunch of backlog for them to play. :P

I already have at least six games in my backlog that I will probably never play, so I doubt I'll be buying anything.

I 100%'d Necesse as part of an achievement farm and while I found it pretty mediocre, it's still very competent.... definitely a pick up if you have interest in general

one of the better "make your own fun" kind of games and very moddable. you can simultaneously create a settlement literally anywhere and also run around with a squad of guys terrorizing anyone you see. the groundwork of the combat system is really interesting thanks to the body part system (even if in practice, microing fights is pretty boring)

this game does however heavily depend on your PC specs. if you don't have an SSD, swapping between parties is gonna feel terrible- i liked having one guy run trading missions while I ran my settlement, but on an HDD swapping to him would take like a minute and almost that to return. it's buttery smooth now with a decent amount of RAM and an ok GPU tho

i've been humming the Gimmick! soundtrack all week..... I probably should buy it :D

sandrock's really good dawg, it's a better portia. portia's also really good and only like $6 vs sandrock's current $20-15 (depending if you buy keys third party or on steam)

vrising is good even if solo, though you'll want to make most settings like resource rates 2-4x of the default if you want to not go insane solo

dyson sphere project is what i would consider one leg of the holy trinity of factory games, with the other two being factorio and satisfactory
