This definitely isn't as unpopular as the Dobbs decision, but there's a lot of arguments against it.

Yes. In Michigan, we voted to eliminate AA ages ago. So did California. Both states have many universities that have continued to achieve a diverse student body. I think the more important thing is to eliminate legacies and focus on merit and individualized circumstances.

I support it because giving consideration to a kid who's the first in his family to go to college because it was literally against the law for his grandfather to go to college is racist but giving consideration to a waspy kid who's forefathers have gone to the same university since the Mayflower clearly isn't racist somehow

Also because reverse racism is totally a thing that exists and not a white supremicist dog whistle
