I was feeling weirdly nostalgic and gave it a go.

I haven't lived there in 25 years and it's like a time warp. The tenants of some businesses have changed, but it's exactly as I remember it.

Anyone else do this?

We moved a lot when I was a kid, maybe I'll have to check out some of the locations for fun.

I've done that. With my hometown it's kinda mixed. A few parts of town have had a lot of new development over the years but most of it hasn't changed much. The neighborhood where I mostly grew up isn't much different.

The interesting thing though is one of the houses I lived in as a kid was later converted into a police station and then into a rehab center.

No, but I ask people who still live down there how its changed and I get varying answers.

I live in my hometown still. I go and drive the areas I used to roam though from time to time for nostalgic purposes
