It's like Power Punch II but it doesn't suck.

I'll definitely check this out, but based on the trailer, I kinda feel like it... Does too much, if that makes sense? Like, the fun of Punchout was having (mostly) realistic attack patterns that you could learn and dodge/react to, whereas this game shows a lot of over the top things happening, which makes it seem like the patterns to learn will be more random and "learn by dying" than just... Logical reaction.

Like, in Punchout, if I see Super Macho Man winding up for a spinning hook, I know I need to duck beneath it/block, because, logically, moving to the side wouldn't dodge a hook. But in this trailer, I see some kind of... Vampire teeth void attack that appears to take up most of the screen, and I have no logical reaction on how to dodge that, so I assume I'll have to learn how to deal with it by just... Tanking it, first.

I'm actually surprised nobody has tried to copy Punch out yet, being a dead series with a simple but really good gameplay loop

Not offensive enough. It needs authentic Punch-Out names like Camel Crusher, Vito Linguini, Chief Punching Bull, and Rabbi Roundhouse.

Looks interesting. Too much anime stuff for my tastes, but I'd give it a shot.
