At my old job, the last three times I took time off, someone quit.

I'm taking the week off at my current job, and someone got fired. I took multiple days off earlier this year, and someone was fired then too.

It's a weird coincidence.

What do you do? Maybe the employees feel overworked when there's one less person around. Of course that's not your problem for scheduling PTO ahead of time anyway. And maybe they were just bad performers as well (the ones who got fired)

At CVS, it was: pharmacist-in-charge, pharmacist-in-charge, lead pharmacy tech

At my current job: rando tech that wasn't really vibing with anyone, and full-time delivery driver who drove the route that dealt with our most "challenging" patients.

I'm a pharmacy tech. It was definitely overwork at CVS. Staffing was less than acceptable on a good day.

For current job, the technician that was fired just wasn't really doing it. She was very late often and spent a lot of time on her phone. She was suspected to be the one responsible for mixing drugs in bottles by accident, and it turned out to be true.

The driver was good, though. Everyone liked her. She seemed to work very hard and was relied on. I could see her mouth getting her in trouble, though, but that is pure speculation until I'm back at work.

There was another girl fired at my job between these two, but I was there for that. She was someone we took in when her previous pharmacy closed and we took over their business. She was letting prescriptions get sent out for delivery whether or not we had a form of payment on file. Hundreds of patients getting sent mysterious bills months later got her found out.

The CVS I worked at kept like 8 or 9 people on staff. My current employer is a local company of about 50 employees.

I guess so. People do seem to always miss me for some unknown reason.
