Essentially, I wanted to do all three endings.

I knew of an "ending lockout" mid-game. Didn't know about the second "lockout" near the end of the game.

I would have been okay if I got locked out of the bad ending, but I got locked out of the new DLC ending that's canon because it leads into Blasphemous 2.

I was looking up guides trying not to be spoiled and not a single one of them said "THESE ARE LOCKOUT POINTS DO X BEFORE DOING THEM". Me doing what I do, I feel it's important to make this clear for the completionists in the room.

Heck I started doing one of the new DLC bosses but now I've given up because I know it will lead to nothing unless I start the game over from the beginning.

So I watched the new ending and I'm going on to Blasphemous 2.

I started a playthrough on my PS5 a little while ago. Only got a few hours in. I'm going to start a new playthrough on my PC soon since I got it through Humble Bundle. I'm much more likely to complete games on my PC than consoles.

Edit: Oh yea, regarding these lockouts...that sounds very annoying. I hate feeling like I have to play with a guide to make sure I don't miss anything. I'll never forgive Trails in the Sky.

There was a infographic that I remember from ages ago that mentioned all of the lockouts (including the one guy stuck in the tree that dies stupidly easy), I'm guessing that it has been somewhat lost to time.
