UnfairRepresent 09/07/23 7:12:44 AM #1:	You come home one day to see Ulysses S. Grant and William Tecumseh Sherman brawling with a KKK clansman and a Proudboy outside your home. They're all grappling together until they fall on top of each other. Sherman gets the better of the proudboy, pushes him to the floor and starts literally kicking his ass. Grant holds onto the KKK guy in a bulldog grip and is chewing and choking as much as possible as he tries pull off the clansman's hood when a fat guy in a MAGA hat and NASCAR shirt starts sneaking up behind them with a raised bottle of Yuengling lager in hand, poised to strike. https://i.imgur.com/xqimtRn.jpg How do you react? Even Grant who did more for minorities than arguably any other American in history, was a dick to Jews. This is why you shouldn't deify historical figures. But it seems a bit misleading to point at the guys who did the most to end slavery and unify the country and go "ACtuwally they're white supremacists!" Don't forget that guys like Thaddeus Stevens or John Brown were considered radical exetremists by most the population.
