Now many, if not almost all, first-world countries have declining birth rates.

Now that's the big concern. Too few babies.

Here's hoping the trend continues.

Too few babies isn't a concern at all. Only for the rich who expect constant economic growth and throw a fit if they don't get what they want.

I don't remember anyone outside of a few internet ultra leftists being too concerned about overpopulation.

As is it's not too much of an issue planet-wise. Not for humans at any rate. Any decrease in our number would be good for the Earf itself.

Who is we? Ive never been concerned about that.
