When Milton claims that Micah didn't start being a rat until after Guarma.

Despite the whole game foreshadowing that he was a rat who was just after the money literally the entire time and constantly betraying the group. So much of the plot makes less sense/becomes weirdly coincidental with that revelation and it doesn't add anything.

It's such an odd line in such a high detail game.

When was Guama?

This line of dialogue didn't exactly stand out to me as a twist. It might have just been Milton not noticing Micah's devious ways until then, or maybe Micah's behavior shifted when he saw opportunity. Was Guarma the big heist at the beginning? Considering Dutch was short staffed, it would make sense Micah gets ambitious.

It was the fifth chapter. Which doesn't make sense since I thought the Pinkertons had a spy as early as San Denis.

Micah joined the group from the beginning with nefarious intentions; you can even find wanted posters for Dutch in the place he camped at after freeing him for jail. He probably intended all along to push Dutch into horrible ideas or setups just to get his bounty to go higher.

maybe Molly really was a rat, too.

we brush it off since it's revealed that Micah is revealed to have betrayed the gang, and we maybe think she only said what she said because she finally had her fill of Dutch, but maybe she at least told on the gang once.

Honestly it works better in my opinion because things are going so bad that it makes you think he's a rat before he is. But you discover in the end that no, Dutch and Hosea's decision making was always at the heart of things going wrong for you

The game went through a lot of changes during development. My guess is there was originally going to be more than one rat and it was cut and now things don't quite work out because of it.

Disagree

There's a lot of odditties. Like Micah having a Dutch bounty poster. Micah pushing for the Odrisical peace meeting that lead to Arthur getting kidnapped (and they somehow knew where he was), Micah being in prison with an O'driscal who he kills before Arthur can talk to him, Micah wearing all white to the bank heist that the police knew about..

In fact the Pinkertons turning up straight away to the train robbery where Sean gets knocked out is the only mission I can think of that went sideways that Micah had nothing to do with.

Saying "Oh that's all a string of coincidences" just makes the story weaker IMO.
