A: "Cyric we have new hires to train today."
Me: "Okay, is it a mid-morning training or afternoon training?" A: "They're new hires." Me: "Sure, but when's the training." A: "Today." --- CyricZ He/him http://twitch.tv/cyricz42 ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah no notice training is shit. As are non answers.
Like I wouldve completely changed my approach to the day if I knew I had a trainee. I already did all the shit I am supposed to show them <_< Also we are perma skeleton crew so training is fucking awful anyways. I am quick to give up on incompetent/uninterested trainees. Like look fuck corporate and all but there is a balance between flipping off corporate and literally doing nothing. Like come on this is the service industry its a balancing act to minimize exploitation without making your day hell and ticking off a fuckload of coworkers and customers. Im not getting paid extra for this shit(should be illegal frankly. If you still have your normal duties then training should be paid 1.5x minimum) so If you aint worth the effort the effort isnt going into training you. --- My Mario Maker 2 Maker ID is J2K-RFD-K4G Even In sigs FOE! http://i2.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/665/328/d75.gif ... I love how HR onboarding can take anywhere between 5 minutes and 5 hours. Sometimes I don't get to talk to a new hire until the next day, but thanks for making me clear my calendar all the same.
