Even when they were a thing they arguably weren't a thing

Clark and Lois are still reporters for the Daily Planet, but depending on the adaptation, comic,... it's more of a media empire rather than a simple newspaper.
Peter is currently working for Norman Osborn who was "cured" of his evil ways due to another storyline where his sins literally got eaten by a villain called the Sin Eater

Pete often ends up becoming a scientist anyway.

Superman's skillset means he'd kill it at nearly any physical job.

Blogging is likely less relevant than newspapers now. They've transitioned and consolidated into other platforms that the term isn't even a thing anymore

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

It's kind of a long story, but shortened version.

A former government operative that killed anyone who had sinned by abusing their authority. So basically a "I am justified in doing this" serial killer.
He got killed himself and then later on revived through comic shenanigans. Now possessing some sort of gun that could blast the sin out of people along with removing superhuman powers. He could then use those powers himself and did all sorts of awful shit with them.

The worst part of that joke is that they probably did try to make Clark Kent a blogger in that lame-o new 52 reboot from a decade back, an internet blogger no less
