They knock on your door said say "Trick or Treat" all dressed as ghosts and you give them candy.

12 minutes later you hear a knock on the door and it's the same kids again, they've just taken their ghost sheets off and are wearing different costumes underneath. They say "Trick or Treat" and act like they haven't just come around before but you can tell it's the same people.

How do you react?
What do you do?

plus i like answering the door in character. last year i was Vector from Despicable Me

I probably wouldn't notice, I barely pay attention to the kids when I give them candy.

That's probably why they are double dipping

I'd've shut my lights off after they first showed up, cause they'd've gotten all of my candy then. I mean in the nearly 20 years that I've lived here I've had a total of 5 kids show up.

I live in a poor AF neighborhood, so I don't get any trick-or-treaters because people in this neighborhood know there's better loot elsewhere and also some of these houses they're likely to get some junkie putting a used needle in that child's bag.

But if that did happen, I wouldn't get mad because, like I said... don't ever get any trick-or-treaters in the first place. On the second go around, I'd probably put the whole rest of the candy bag in their bags and make sure they saw it was empty, because I don't want them hanging around this janky neighborhood where the only zombies are meth zombies.

Wait I just realized. Couldn't kids switch costumes and then get twice the candy? How would the home owner know :o ?

Given how few kids come to my house, I happily give it to them.

how would you even recognize the children if there heads were covered by the ghost costume

if the other kids in the neighbourhood have done their rounds and this group is just collecting whats left over, IDC

I'd hand over some more candy. This is not a big trick-or-treat neighborhood, families are more likely to go to a church-sponsored trunk-or-treat activity, so I have plenty of candy to distribute.

Same in my area... not many trick or treaters around anymore and it's kinda sad.

At least half different, if not different costumes entirely? Good, you tried. Probably will have leftover anyway. Take another bunch. Heck, if you just change your hat alone, you get another bar.
